One of the foremost contemporary
theatre troupes in Delhi
We are organised in New Delhi comprising people from different walks of life. The unifying force for this motley group is their shared enthusiasm and love for the theatrical art-form.
Having staged our first play, in January 2023, Japonchitro carries in its repertoire, a list of four productions, including a full-length play, a theatrical adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore’s short story, ‘Mahamaya’.
We collaborate with other organisations in the NCR as well as in other parts of the country to contribute to social causes, and to raise awareness and support for various endeavours.
